I have the same problem. Have tried restarting, battery pull, reload OS, clean install, removing SD card. Nothing works.

Every time I restart the camera works just once till the time I minimize the app to active frame or close it. Then it needs another restart to work for just one more time.

I am going to take it for warranty repairs this week, let's see what the BlackBerry says to it.

No. My camera had stopped working for sometime, and I had tried all software tricks to get it working. When nothing worked, I took it back for warranty. I was thinking my carrier would repair it or give me a refurbished Z10, instead they gave me a brand new one

My wife was having an issue with the Q. It worked for the first 2 days...but by the 3rd day, it was being "accessed". I found nothing on the forums. And I spoke to 2 Bell carrier reps from different locations. Both said they had not heard of the issue and told me to bring it back for an exchange. No issues with the new one.

Mines backwards. The camera works fine. I just can't get out of it. Seriously, I can't close it. I have to go to a photo then swipe up and close it. But while it's in the camera function, it won't close.
