    Since yesterday, every call i receive the caller ID shows unidentified caller instead of the name of the number which I have already saved in my contacts. Anyone has any idea how to solve it?

    Try a restart:

    Press and HOLD both Vol Up/Down buttons. Keep holding while the screen goes fully black (ignore the screenshot), keep holding through the Black/White logo and when the Colored Logo shows up, release those buttons.

    If you have the STL100-1 variant the volume button reset method doesn't work. In that case, Press and HOLD the Power On Button until you see the LOGO as above

    Something simple to check would be your carrier service. I've had Telus turn off caller ID by mistake before...

    Reboot will not help with this issue. In the phone app go to settings and smart dialling options. Set it up properly as per your country and pay attention to number of digits as this normally causes problems with caller id display. Once set up properly the issue should be gone.

    Mostly this issue will happen only when the system switched on recently . It hardly takes maximum of 5 mins for system, memory card, contacts books to load fully after switched on ur mobile. Once it's fully loaded u will not get this issue.

    Even after 5 mins also u can't able to see the caller id of saved number you should contact the service center.

    I wonder it has any connection with the subscription of data plan with my telco service provider as I just signed new data plan on Thursday and that day I met the problem

    Thx man. I already solved the problem. It's caused by the telco provider. When I sign a new data plan, they didn't activate the caller ID for me so now they activated again and now it's working again. Thx to u all
