India normally gets the latest BBs first. This being a global launch, I think India will make it on the list of launch countries.
The retail and distribution chain rumour is that India will get it first. Let's see how it plays out.

"Blackberry 10" is the name of the operating systems. Two phones will launch with this new system:
The Blackberry Z10, a full-touch device, also called Blackberry L-Series.
Then there will be the X10(?), a QWERTY keyboard device, also called N-Series.

Launch events will be at January 30th, availability is rumoured to be in february. I don't know of any India specific dates, however I guess it will be one of the launch countries. More phones with BB10 OS will be released later this year.

No one has any other info besides the rumour that India would be the Launch country. I would expect availability the same day as its available in America.

I'm thinking we get BB10 far ahead than the US market considering we still have more BB love/fans/consumers. I asked the dealer whom I got my 1st 'berry and he said it would be available 1st week of Feb latest.If that's really the case, it would be a good Valentine's gift for me (and my girl too)

I think the pricing would be the same as 9900, considering I got my 9810 for ~$500 (~Rs 28000) or a bit more. I'm really hoping they price the L series below the Note 2 @ ~36000 to gain some price advantage.

I would be very surprised if India got BB10 before America. The sheer wall of hate RIM would bring upon itself would be unimaginable. Although it would be crazy fun for Indians on CB if that happened.
On the price, I would guess 45000 for the 64 GB. It would be around the iPhone5 price range.

Additionally, they should reduce the prices of OS 7 devices so they appeal to the mid range buyers. 30k bucks for 9900 for example is too steep and if RIM plans to have BB10 as the top of the line, then there will not be too many buyers.

The budget BB10 will be coming out later in the year. The two being launched are high end devices. Trying to compete with Samsung on price would a downward spiral. They need high margins on some models to post a profit. They will get the budget buyer with the cheaper series of BB10.
