    I broke my Z10 and screen is completely useless. Can't access anything on it. Luckily it was insured and received a replacement Z10 today (broke yesterday). However i'm facing two problems. One: Any tips on transferring apps and pictures stored on the actual device? For some reason when trying to backup the device BB link cancels it. I'm thinking it may be because its locked, but I can't unlock due to the unresponsive screen. Second: I have to return my broken device but I have a lot of personal information on it. ANy help on how to clear the device? Again the device is inaccessible. Any thanks would be appreciated.

    use a different computer or and change the SD card

    Should just be a case of logging in with your blackberry I'd and you'll be able to re download everything you had. Won't even have to pay again.
