I am currently having latest leak installed and having both Box and Onedrive to sync my photos. I need an expert opinion which one is better so that I may keep just one cloud active and remove the other one.

    Thanks

BlackBerry Upload to Onedrive resizes photos to 2048x2048, no way to change that. Not sure about the Android version. However, it has much more storage space than Box.

Edit: it's been updated and no longer resizes. I'd say their differences now would be more of which desktop app and website you prefer to use. I use both, plus Dropbox.

This was actually addressed in one of the recent OneDrive updates. Pictures are now uploaded at their original resolution. At least on my Passport they are.

you don't need to uninstall one or the other..you can actually take advantage of the space by uploading different stuff to them...say photos to one drive and videos to box if you're afraid of duplication

With Windows 8 you can access your one drive folder like any drive folder, no need for an extra app or having to log on a website, unless you are on a public computer or using windows 7 or earlier.

It sure is, especially if you have need for office. I ended up getting the 4 years of office with the .edu account ( on two devices a laptop and and win 8.1 tablet) 1TB storage and the ability to do stuff with office online from pretty much anywhere.

more than once the essentially unlimited storage on onedrive has save my bacon. I'm sure that box has a lot of good features but the whole kit and kaboodle of office 365 is hard to beat.

Does it reduce size of the image file? 1.3MB seems small for that resolution. I am not talking about reducing resolution but higher JPEG compression.

No reduction, that's the correct size.

I have both. And still using both. Box had a promotion last round and those who signed up got 50GB storage.

Box always seemed the more mature between the two. The one with the most efficient Web client and desktop app.

Box free account has a 250mb file size limit, whereas One Drive has a 1gb file limit. If you solely use your phone for cloud storage, then it doesn't matter, since BlackBerry made both apps with a 100mb limit.
