Am I the only one who thinks everytime we press the volume button for a video the box covers three fourth of the screen and stays for a nick of a second too long? Any solutions?

Yeah I've always said that. It should be smaller and not in the middle of the screen. I really don't understand why they include the media controls either. Seems unnecessary to me.

I agree. If I'm watching a YouTube vid on my Z10 I hate that the audio box is on the screen for so long. Make it smaller or make it opaque. Or the option to disable it altogether. Would be nice, maybe something they could bring in 10.3?

Get out of my head. I was just thinking that same thing last night.
They should make it a small thin horizontal bar across top or bottom. It doesn't need a symbol, text and metre. It's major overkill.

You know that if you're listening to music or watching a video you can just tap where it shows either the album cover or an icon like the one for the media app on the phone. That takes you back to the video and hides the controls as soon as you touch it.

on the latest leak it's already fixed. It shouldn't cover the whole screen for videos (browser youtube included). But for music, its expected since you can interact directly from that pop up.

You can get rid of it by touching the YouTube video icon next to the volume when you're watching a YouTube video

I have leaked OS 10.2.0.1767 and it's still a big obtrusive box in YouTube.

Good call. It should be integrated into their toast service. Consolidate and simplify the OS while improving usability.

This is one of the few things that annoy me about my Z10. Wish the box was smaller or in a different place on the screen.

Discussed in multiple threads already, but I'm surprised that BlackBerry hasn't already fixed this annoyance instead of redesigning the squircle!
