Since Mr. Chen has cracked down on unofficial leaks coming out, the days in Crackberry or rather with Blackberry has become suddenly boring. I mean no anticipation for leaks anymore even if they come out still don't expect any of the BlackBerry fan communities to share it with us. Mr. Chen, pls take your words back.

While I can see the fun in having leaks, a rather bad side effect is that people already know what's coming in new OS version. There is hardly a surprise anymore with a new OS release. I think Chen made a wise decision, allowing some more breathing room for the development of the OS.

I disagree with John Chen. First, release os updates faster and in a timely manner then you can talk about stopping them.
I was getting average battery life on 10.2.1.2141 and some annoying bugs. Installed 2947 with 2235 radio on my Z30 and my battery is back to normal, and the bugs I had previously are nowhere to be found.
I would have been pissed if had to wait a lot more weeks or even months to get the most out of my device.

I miss the times when leaks come fast. Exciting times. But I have to admit, it's quite tiring, loading leaks and don't restore, adding accounts again, downloading apps again, etc.

i thought we both saw a leak from Jeandry Brito..... what happened to that leak or the leak was a fake?..... this was the leak quote (10.3.0.289-STL234-Z30-Q10-Q5.rar)

He was talking more about device leaks than OS leaks from what I read, or at least the emphasis was on devices.. if NSA can't stop leaks, doubt they'll ever really be stopped..

Absolutely. Couldn't agree more, and think the surprise factor is far more pleasant than already knowing and having it. Although in my admission I'm a suckered for leaks looool. But if one never comes until 10.3 that's also a good thing!

Haha I do miss the leaks because I did install some of them but I miss my iPhone/android days when I got a major update without knowing anything about it. You'd wake up, roll over and look at your phone and see that an update was available. Instantly made my day. Haha
