    So has anybody else noticed that the boot time on the new os is A LOT better? Starting around 5 o'clock on the blue circle my z10 starts jumping 5-10% at a time. It hangs a little here and there but the last 40% or so goes by ridiculous fast.

    Am I alone in this joyful experience?

    No idea what the difference would be, but I notice that off & on with 10.1.0.1720 and my prior builds.

    i feel that since updating to the 10.1 OS the boot time is reasonably faster, no matter what. i'm still running the .1762 (as from now on i've decided to just wait for my carrier - Telstra - to push their own official OS to my phone, can't afford of backing up & restoring everytime with the leaked OS) and yeah, i got 1 min 15'-20' in average for a reboot (from the shutdown splash screen - LED - blank screen - BB splash screen - the BB10 circle), previously on the 10.0 OS yeah it was close to 2 mins. good tweak BBRY! and i'm pretty sure the .2xxx OS will boot faster as well, the trend is on the right track.

    better to have the phone booted up quickly then any additional processes to run after the boot up has finished rather than to wait for longer.
