    Everytime I put a dp, zoomed or not, my pictures always come out blurry.
    I am getting very angry at blackberry,
    This isn't even the only thing I don't like about the z10
    There is a lot of issues with it.

    I guess all I can say is that their main purpose is as tiny square avatars next to your name, and as such they never were required to be a high-quality image. One of those 'efficiency' optimizations carried over from the old RIM days.

    Luckily Channels will soon provide everyone with some very nice image sharing capabilities.

    It has to do with the actual format of the pic.

    I know this because it used to drive me crazy as well, until I find a forum on here where someone had posted the correct extension name.

    Sorry I don't remember exactly what it was, however if you dig through the forums abit, you will surely find it.

    Not a problem with BlackBerry or anything like that, just the type of file that BBM recognizes.

    Not sure.

    However I can confirm ".jpg" works fine as that's what my current BBM display pic is.

    Yes a problem on blackberry. It's their BBM the pics I take on my camera shouldn't have to have lower quality as a display picture when apple and Android BBM users have good quality pictures. Wake up blackberry
