I love the Z10 and just had a question out of curiosity which the internets have not been able to answer for me. I like how the ROKU remote control has a built in headphone function that's super handy for keeping the house quiet while watching movies, however, that limits me to whatever streams through the ROKU.

What I envisioned was using my Z10 in the same way, if I picked up a bluetooth transmitter to hook up to my TV. Does anyone know if I would be able to transmit audio from the TV using a bluetooth transmitter so I could listen to the audio using my Z10 and headphones.

The jawbone Clipper is probably the reverse of what you want??

But I think there are BT devices that can plug into, say the AudioHeadphone Jack of a tv and transmit to bt headphones or the jabra clipper.

Thanks and yes, what I'm asking is if my phone can do what the jawbone does.

I know with the jawbone, I can use it with the Z10 for two way communication such as a phone call. I also believe I can use the jawbone to receive sound from a bt transmitter from my tv.

What I would like to know is if I can use my Z10 to receive sound from a bt transmitter from my tv., so I can listen through the Z10 headphones.

I have a wifi receiver hooked up to my TV that also supports Bluetooth. I can play content from my Z10 to the TV but never tried it the other way. Will try tonight and let you know.
