Hey folks,

I am running into an issue which has left me rather quite confused. I bought Microsoft bluetooth mouse and HP K 4000 bluetooth keyboard about a month back. Both the devices were recognized by Z10 and perfectly operational. All of a sudden today, the mouse is being recognized as just "Peripheral" instead of the name of the device. Attempts to restart the device, turning on / off bluetooth ( on Z10 and mouse ) went in vain. The keyboard though is still being recognized.

Any help would be appreciated.

So you are saying the mouse does not work?
Did you install something else on your phone? Like even an app?

Is an installation of app necessary ? I haven't installed any app to make my devices run with Z10. It was working just fine after turning on Bluetooth. Now all of a sudden, the mouse is being displayed as a "Peripheral" but not being recognized !

You might try removing the mouse from the z10 and then re-pairing it again.

Do you use the mouse with any other device?

Try a restart:

Press and HOLD both Vol Up/Down buttons. Keep holding while the screen goes fully black (ignore the screenshot), keep holding through the Black/White logo and when the Colored Logo shows up, release those buttons.

If you have the STL100-1 variant the volume button reset method doesn't work. In that case, Press and HOLD the Power On Button until you see the LOGO as above
