    Good evening all,
I am running whatever was the last official software from ATT (10.1.something or other)

This morning I unplugged my phone from the charger and received a blue screen. I thought nothing of it turned the phone back on and went about my day. A few hours later while surfing the net on the phone, the screen suddenly began to fade pixalated matrix-style (thin strings down the screen) to a green hue before fading further to black. Very dramatic. Since then, the phone will not turn on.

I have plugged it into the charger and was able to turn it on briefly. The "Blackberry" logo came up before I received the blue screen of death again then nothing. I have tried two different chargers. Now I get nothing when attempting to plug in, reboot, etc.

Do I have a paperweight now?

If you still covered by warranty then I would take it in.

Ha yes bill is paid. Anyway to wipe the device to ensure safety of emails on the old thing? Target practice comes to mind

Hmm... quite possibly a few culprits to this. Are you able to hook it up to a computer and get it to detect? I would try reloading the OS first. If not, then maybe a fried circuit.

I am unable to get my computer to register when plugged in, however i pulled the battery while it is plugged in and now it emits a blinking red light. place the battery back in...light goes off. Does this mean anything?
