There's another way to think about this. You can probably find a lost dollar on the floor or enough change under your couch to pay for the app.

Edit: NVM, thought it was a dollar.

I will tell you that all features such as re-tweet, reply and favourite are within one swipe. Just a swipe, not even an extra press.
Efficiency's there and the GUI is my favourite over the original Twit. And the speed is there and never is there anything less than buttery smooth performance.

If you use Twitter a lot, yes.
If you kind of want to try a similar feeling app before you get Blaq, try Neatly. They're similar in how they work with sliding left revealing the reply options and sliding right revealing the less used options.

I love blaq and it's worth it to me. I still enter my Twitter account into the account settings just to be sure I don't miss anything in the Hub, but Blaq does alert too on some things, depending on your settings, I think.

As I'm a Beta tester of Blaq.

The future releases will allow Blaq to have its own section in the Hub. It's definitely worth the money.

This app just keeps getting better and better.

Absolutely it's worth it. Blaq is easy to use, and I like how you can see the pictures that people have uploaded, and then select them to make them bigger. I have two twitter accounts and I can easily switch between them by swiping down from the top. I like being able to easily "favourite" tweets for easy access later on.

For the small amount of $$ that it costs, it is well worth it.

I also have Blaq on my PlayBook.

Another vote for Blaq, even though I don't currently have a BB. (Waiting on a Q10 to arrive). I loved it on my Z10
