Can you confirm the functionalities without BIS ?

I'm a BIS user myself but some of my friends have been asking this with the rumours from other thread that it still works but without BBM

All e-mail is push, just have to adjust the settings manually and turn on active sync. The BGR folks were talking out of their a**es when they posted the review.

I second this. It may be a bit too Androidy, but I'd like to know if there is in fact a home-screen or not. It's nice to be able to see my fiance's picture not beset by icons!

But, with Google turning off Activesync for regular GMail today (except Windows Phone 8), it becomes an issue.

There is no kind of tray or minimisation option, if you want to see more of your picture you will have to be on the open apps page with less open or simply spread your apps over more pages.

VPN options are the same as on the playbook, just the boring business ones and not consumer ones unfortunately.
