What carrier/country are you on/in?

I am also Rogers in Canada and no luck.

Well I am right now on a holiday in India and am seeing the update here. The irony is that the phone is not yet available here.

haha, nice. Well I meant what country is your carrier based in. Since updates are approved by and then released based on the carrier.

It's Feb 18th here now. I don't see it yet.

I'm guessing is released by the day.

It's the 18th here and I don't see it yet. BlackBerry have multiple deployment sites around the world. It's just a case if waiting until the one you are using gets it.

Oh so your phone is unlocked? That's bad news for the rest of us. I heard that unlocked phones get the updates first.

Actually it is older. For software versions the last number is the build number. So this is build number 58 while that other one is build number 261.

But I'll happily take either if it is officially released for me

Nothing is new. It's all psychological. BlackBerry Just posts these to keep us all at bay. Stops the whining. Like little kids, hide an old toy for a few weeks and re release it as new. LOL

Lmao that's what I thought based on my experience back when 9780 was new

I will see what it is by default and see what happens abt updates (it'll be Rogers and by earlier responses I doubt I will have any updates lol)

I remember back in the day ppl sometimes confused the other component version numbers and thought the os version was different from what it actually was....since each compOent had different version numbers attached as shown earlier in this thread also

//edit my mistake the different version numbers for each component was shown in the other thread that was linked. This is what I mean
