You won't like this answers but I don't think Bulgaria is available for BlackBerry maps yet. I check mine and I couldn't see anything for Bulgaria.

I've never been able to work out how to use BlackBerry maps....google I have no trouble with....but BlackBerry maps never seem to want to be involved in my permanent state of lostness.....
