Blackberry Z10 Launch event in India - Ongoing now

One of my very close friend is at the launch event of Blackberry Z10 in India..
Salient Highlights..Apart from what has already been seen at the global launch

- Demoed by Vivek B...

1. MapMyIndia - Full fledged mapping/navigation app, available for indian users free. Its not free in other platforms iOS, Andorid and Windows..
2. Major Indian Banking Applications on app world free - Allowing you Balance inquiry, Funds transfer and bill payments..
3. Dedicated PVR Cinema application - Allowing you make payments and buy stuffs through NFC
4. Talking about Skype and Whats app to be available very soon..
5. Store wise availability from tomorrow at Rs 43,490 (approx USD 806$) - No carrier locking and no contracts (few folks were sitting around with Lumia 920.. when the pricing was announced, they kissed their 920's..

6. Q10 to be available very soon as well...

Main Take away - Huge disappointment with pricing... another 25$ more, you get the 16GB iPhone 5 in India...

Unrealistic expectations. No phone is worth that much. Not the iphone5 not the note 2 not z10.

If that pricing is indeed correct, Z10's gonna tank badly in India. A great phone but what a waste to have it priced like that.

I am not thinking to buy this mobile at present pricing point (which I thought to buy previously).

I know this is crazy Pricing. It is definitely not "Affordable" for the users here in India. try and adjust the pricing or it will be just another Iphone for the Indian Market (Based on pricing). I will for sure not buy one at this price. Don't care for being faithful to BB for so long, I think will wait for Q10 launch and then move on to Android if BB forces me too.
