    There's a lot that could go wrong if you're not careful. The screen, especially, has fairly delicate cables, and when I took mine apart (to trade the black for white) it wound up costing me a new screen.

    Otherwise it's fairly simple. I'd recommend checking out the ifixit article if you're planning on doing it. Just make sure you're comfortable with very small parts, and have a well made precision Torx set.

    You'll also need some thermal paste for the snapdragon chip. That's not mentioned in the ifixit teardown.

    Check photos on etradesupply of the A and B chassis. You want the one that matches the location of your SIM card (either at the bottom or the top of the battery). I think the STL-100-1 has one type, and the 2/3/4 have the other.

    I'd recommend holding off until they've got replacement screens in stock. They had to refund me because the one they sold was below their standards, and they wouldn't ship it, which I appreciate, because the one I DID get, from N4BB, has quite a few dead pixels.
