Are you leaving BBM open? Mine has been dying in 4 to 5 hours the past 3 days. I closed the BBM tile today and now my battery life is much stronger.

    This doesn't tell us anything
We need to see this when it is actually draining
Also, your OS is old, because like lw4comm's image, the newest OS 10.3+ has white on top and bottom, not blue and black
Could be that there is a rogue android program as well
I can get at last 18 hrs no problem with regular use, although usually it's closer to 24 hrs on a single charge

Hi your Z10 what model is it? Mine is the STL100-2. I'm running 10.2.1.3062. Are you running ap's that are constantly running? I run WiFi in my office all day & at home at night. My battery life is much better than your & I'm a heavy user for email, text, BBM, Skype, Viber, & whatsapp. The Z10 doesn't have the greatest battery life but it beats my girlfriend iPhone 5. I do go through battery quick with Skype. Take a look at what you have running that may not be necessary & there are many threads here on ways to increase your battery time.. It seems your phone's battery is not in sync with software. Try battery pull while the phone is on. And wait for some time, put the battery back and then charge it fully. Then see the difference.
    Do let us know.

Also go in software update tab in settings and check if there is any update available. Your phone ideally should be on 10.2. 1.3442

When I had a Z10 I had to keep spare batteries in my pocket. I had to change them out every few hours. Or keep it plugged in permanently.

The Z10 battery is what ruined the Z10 for me. You're basically screwed although there are people here who will tell you they get 48 hours out of one battery.

Power users like me kill batteries. I love my Z30 but I can kill it in 10 hours easily.

I would not advise pulling the battery with the phone on. Shut it off first then pull the battery & let it sit for 20-30 minutes then put it back in and fire it up. Have you done a hard reset by pushing both of the volume controls down till the phone shuts off? Also I would see if you have any update from your carrier as that is an older version of the OS. You may have a program running in the background that is killing your battery.

I think h should do an reload to your os that might fix the calibration problem in your device (what I got from Ur screen shot) bcz mine works around 12 hrs or more on moderate usage

Finally it took me 14 hours of trouble to recover.

My z10 just switched off suddenly when the battery reaches below 20%.

I try the method of removing battery for 2-3 hours & insert it again and put on charging. I tried it 3-4 times continously and finally my z10 boot up with 13% battery.

It won't hurt it. I was advised to do it by Blackberry support when I was having issues with my Z10 back when it first came out. I asked if he meant for me to do a hard reset or pull the battery, he specified pull the battery. I also pulled my battery two to three times a day to swap batteries over the past year and a half with no issues.

With that said, a hard reset may be all it needs. Sometimes though it is good to pull the battery out and leave it out for a while before replacing it.

OP, did you just recently update the OS?

Was the battery enough charged while you did the battery pull? Do a full charge then remove the battery and then after 10 mins put it back. Once the phone has boot up charge it again fully.

Mine Z10/STL100-2 on leaked 10.3.1.2072. Battery life is well working. You may install OS leaked and the battery life is good. Your device may do hard reset by long hold up/down volumes button until the BlackBerry logo appeared and then release volume button. Note -Do not bothered the screen shot.
