    After updating my Blackberry mobile Z10 OS 10.2 to 10.3, the user ID associated with my mobile (which have been enabled with anti theft protection feature is ON) was accidentally deleted. Because of this my mobile could not Logon and showing the message on screen that "The anti-theft protection feature is ON. To continue with device set-up you must enter your Blackberry ID". I made so many efforts with logging on with new user ID and password, but problem in vain. If anybody has an idea to solve the above problem please help?

    Tell me if I got this right:
    1. You have BBID X on the phone;
    2. Protect anti-theft was on;
    3. You deleted BBID X;
    4. You created a new BBID - let's call it BBID Y;
    5. You wiped the device;
    6. You want to log in with BBID Y

    If that is exactly how it came down... Sorry, really sorry for you.

    You should have disabled ati-theft before doing anything. You can try to recover the old BBID, but I don't know if that can be done. You're best bet is shouting for help to @BlackBerryHelp on Twitter and explaining what happened to them.

    If you can recover the lost BBID, then you can recover the device. If you can't, I don't think it will do more than become a shiny paperweight.
