Hi all,

I've got a Canadian z10 and am currently vacationing down in Florida.

Due to some crappy weather I was hoping to rent a movie from BlackBerry world and hdmi output it to the tv here in my room. However, the whole movie category is missing. Same for music. Just apps are avail.

Thoughts on this? Something to do with licensing? My wife's iPad can access movies here but I'd prefer to buy from BlackBerry.

I noticed this yesterday. I bought an album but couldnt download it at the time as it kept saying server error etc, and when i went back on to BB World to try again earlier the album wasnt up there anymore, along with others i'd seen previously and had been wanting to download. I know its not the exact same problem but i was a quite confused. Thought it may be a licencing problem of some sort.

Same here. I'm missing the movies and music, it's just apps and games for me. Does it have to do with my country? Is it an issue with BBWorld or what?

many other stores don't have restrictions from Where files are being downloaded, but from where the account/payment comes from,

The licensing for BlackBerry always seems to depend upon the country in which the user is located or the SIM provisioning. FYI I am not a lawyer.

If you're roaming or in an unsupported country, it gets removed. It will come back once you get on your home network. Same thing happened at the New York launch event, my Z10 was roaming on AT&T with a Rogers SIM.. once back in Canada, it came back.

It didn't show up for me since day 1 when I got my device. I live in Bahrain. Does that mean it's not yet supported in my country?

Just like netflix among others, it doesn't seem like it'll be supported in the Middle East. Although I hope I'm wrong. It's kinda annoying that we always lack features that should be made available
