Didn't know which forum to out this in since it's a general device thing but I really think BlackBerry should consider going to a direct warranty system. They did it with the wife playbooks and when I had to get mine fixed the whole process was awesome.

It's just that now every time I consider buying another BlackBerry phone I always have to worry about someone actually honoring a warranty. If BlackBerry did it consumers would have one less thing to worry about and a guaranteed baseline experience if something did go wrong.

I know they're going back to their roots of business but can they really afford to entirely scrap consumer concerns? The business market is BYOD now and therefore essentially consumer.

I do agree, they need a better warranty service for sure.
