I have the blackberry premium car charger ($13 amazon one) and it doesn't charge my Z10 properly.

According to battery guru it fluctuates power constantly from .3 watts to 5 watts and spikes all the time.

My PlayBook wall charger works great.

Anyone else having this problem?

The beginning of the graph is about 30 minutes on the car charger. You can see the charging is fluctuating wildly and definitely not continuous 1.8amps. The part with the clean white curve is when charging off the PlayBook wall charger (black line is the charger output current).

From around 90% charge the wattage will decrease and fluctuate this is normal for any charging cable no matter if it is wall or car charger.

You will never get 100% 1.8amps from it when it reaches 90% charged it will decrease into a trickle charge.

I have the car charger as well blackberry made 1.8amps and I find it charges just as fast as the 1.8amp playbook wall charger.

I know, what I am showing in the screen shot is in the beginning after the first spike it drops to almost nothing and fluctuates (before the second area where it climbs because I switched to the wall charger).

My Z10 had about 50% charge when I plugged it into the car charger.
