Let's say that you need to call a local number before you place your international call. Is there a way to link the 2 numbers before your call? Or is there a way to dial one of your contact numbers after you called the first number? Please note that this is not the same with conference calling where you make 2 separate calls and then you join them.

In not sure exactly what you mean. There is an option to "add a call" in which you dial the second number then link them together. This is right in the call screen after the first call in answered.

That option you are referring to is for a conference call: you make the first call then tap Add Call and after the second call succeeds you join them.
What I am referring to is make a call and when connected I need to dial another number from my contacts list. This applies for instance when you call a local number provided by a long distance provider and after your number is recognized by their system you can dial for instance a number from a country in Europe without paying exorbitant rates for long distance.

Been answered in another thread. No, there is no means of adding a prefix based on specific calling numbers. Best method would be to add the prefix and the # as a second contact # for that contact. Or even the initial contact # if you do not tend to travel to that area.

You may want to try making a contact with both numbers separated by w which is the wait function.

after dialking the first number and the dialed number answer ur call, you do what you need to do and press the dial (green) button to let your BB key in/dial the 2nd number

Thanks for your help, I have already applied the option which you mentioned but I was hoping for a better one.
