Can anyone confirm if Blackberry Navigator is available on the 10OS? I use the beta version on my Bold but making the switch to z10 and would like to have that app with me.

    Thanks!

I thought the Navigator was built into the BlackBerry Maps....... even on OS 10.0.

Blackberry Maps does do turn by turn navigation. It does it very well to IMO.

BlackBerry Maps of BB10 has turn by turn directions just like BlackBerry Navigator. I've used both apps. They are very similar. By the way I use BlackBerry 10 Maps a couple times a week.

I agree maps is like the nav beta but it came a few months. Before the Z10 so I didn't get to use it as much

BB Navigation is the same on BB10. Except its latest updates have made it much better. In fact when I got my z10 the first thig I did was sideload Google Maps. Up until the latest update on the latest leaked OS, it lagged far behind Google Maps. Now - I'm thinking I may not need both on my Z10. If maps and navigation is your concern - Z10 has you covered.

I have other issues with the Z10, but Maps and Navigation are very good to excellent now.

I can't find the pedestrian options. Point me in the right place as for me BlackBerry maps is currently useless

It's a smartphone. It uses data to keep information up to date. If you want offline maps, buy a Garmin or Tom Tom.
