My Blackberry Maps app had stopped working and dissapeared, tried re-installing it via bb world, but wouldnt allow me to do this....so resorted to do a factory reset...the app is now working however the picture is not there?? just the word.....any ideas anyone??

Delete the app and try installing it again. If not then just side load Google Maps and call it a day.
Actually, you should side load Google Maps either way.

When going into the world to do this it wont give me the option to do this....have looked at google maps but there are several options out there? which one?

Go to your browser, log in to blackberry world and install it from there.

No, try deleting it off your main grid. Like press and hold the icon and tap the x to delete it. Try that way.
