I've had my Z10 for about a year now with no problems.....the MAPS app has worked fine until recently. When I now try to use it opens up and shows my local map and my location. However, when I try to navigate somewhere it shows the route but will not provide voice commands. Instead I get a "your gps location can't be found....." message on the screen. Anyone else have this problem and/or can recommend another navigation app? Thanks,

Thanks for suggestion. I tried downloading Navfree. It goes through the downloading process but when it finishes and I get the "Open" icon nothing happens.....it won't open. I have the Navfree symbol/icon on my phone but when I click on it takes me back to the Navfree install screen with the "Open" iccon where nothing happens when I click on. Frustrating.

I'm not going anywhere but there was an initial voice. Did you check settings? There's a choice of tone or voice.

    You might also try

    Try a restart:

Press and HOLD both Vol Up/Down buttons. Keep holding while the screen goes fully black (ignore the screenshot), keep holding through the Black/White logo and when the Colored Logo shows up, release those buttons.

If you have the STL100-1 variant the volume button reset method doesn't work. In that case, Press and HOLD the Power On Button until you see the LOGO as above

Recently discovered a nav app called Waze (in the Snap app store) and it's really good. Give it a try!

Same problem here and even waze doesn't work also giving "no gps" message. Also did BBVE gps test and it failed. What is the problem?

I've had Waze for awhile. Great map app - definitely prefer the android version over the BlackBerry one.

Problem is with your GPS receiver in phone. It can be software bug or hardware malfunction.
Try reinstalling phone software with BlackBerry Link. If that doesn't help you will need to have it fixed by service.
