    Default BlackBerry maps

I'm pressing on the map app, it's loads for 3 seconds without opening anything then is closes again, I restarted the phone few times and I removed the battery without success, tried to delete then install the app but I'm not able to delete. What should I do?

No need to be a j erk. I came in here to offer some suggestions, but you can have fun figuring it out yourself since you're going to be so condescending towards people who are trying to help you. Good luck.

P.s. The only person who looks like a fool here is you.

First rule of troubleshooting check and ask the obvious (like is your computer plugged in you'd be surprised how many times that solved the problem)

Dcbo89 was rude, but OP overreacted a bit. Whatever, move on.

How was he rude? He just asked a simple question to be sure. He even said "silly question" to lighten the mood. OP was just downright condescending.

I was once troubleshooting a connection to computer issue with the customer. Turns out she never had the battery in the device.

The obvious has to be asked. It's part of all troubleshooting.

I would hate to think an op wasted my time with me providing advanced steps and skipped over the simple questions.

Internet speak strikes again! OP asked a legit question, second poster, trying to be nice answers, OP reads the reply and takes offense. Read the second post again. It canbe taken as a lighthearted way of asking what could be a simple thing or itcould be read as "that is a silly question". Too bad a simple thing like this results in hurt feelings but it does show that text based conversations can easily go off the rails. Good example to us all particularly with possibly many new posters showing up here as sales of the Z10 and soon Q10 happen. We all need to be pretty careful on how we word our posts. Too bad things went off the rails.

Wow. The guy was trying to ask an obvious question without making you look like a fool but you managed to do that to yourself with this rude response. And by the way, its "quiet" not "quite".

Interesting reaction to say the least. It was a question that had to be asked and I meant no offense to the OP, I do take some in the response however.

I wish you luck in your future endeavors but if you want help in the future I advise you dont snap at the hand that is being offered.

Hey guys don't over react, it was just a misunderstood response. The OP thought the reply was meant to call his question silly which is why he responded with "silly answer". You know we have international posters here who might not understand some of things we say as Americans.

Just so you guys understand what I mean, reread the reply substituting the comma after silly question with a period.
