I hope next week that instagram is announced at the blackberry live event. Not that I care about it but just so people can stop with the "Where's Instagram" threads. Although if it does happen I'm sure a new app will suddenly become the app that will be required to save blackberry from inevitable bankruptcy.

The R10 is necessary. It means adding bodies to the platform who may not be able to afford the Z10 and Q10. Those bodies mean more eyeballs and more dollars, which equates to more and better updates and more apps.

I don't think there will be much in the way of device talk. I expect that it will be more about where BlackBerry will be heading on the software side of things..... what they are doing to truly make steps forward and separate themselves from everyone else.

I think you can expect quite a bit of talk about the corporate world as BES10 is due for a big upgrade. Interested to hear what they will have on the consumer side but I'm only interested in seeing how this will fit with their marketing plans, especially for the US. I don't expect there will be much for me as I'm satisfied with my Z10 and have all the apps I need. Still I will be following events with interest.

Your probably right. And with good reason. That really should be the primary focus anyway. BlackBerry knows the Corporate world is their bread and butter and everything else is gravy. However, pumping us mere motals up with new products will be welcomed!
