    2 way contact sync works!

I use BBLink on my 5 year old W7 laptop, connect my z10 via usb and it syncs my phone's contacts and calendar perfectly with those on my MS Outlook 2007.

Excellent! Thanks! I will test out tonight and finally have an Outlook full of contacts! It's funny how my phone is my primary contacts list... used to be the other way around lol

As with all tech stuff, make sure your computer & phone both have all their updates installed, make sure you have the latest version of Link installed, and be sure to check the sync settings first before running the sync.

They've still not included the feature that allows you to manually confirm/reject a change. It's all or nothing.

I know tons of people who don't keep number formats consistent for example, or put a work address in a home address field. There's no way to manually resolve these conflicts during sync, like there was the with the old versions of Desktop Software.

There is an option in the Link "sync" to notify you if something will be deleted from either the phone or the computer before Link proceeds to delete it.

Indeed there is, but if you choose not to delete it, the entire sync is aborted.

There's no option to choose which record you want to keep.

And I had to call support to work out duplicates due to whether a contact originated on my z10 (and decided it was a local contact) if on my desktop (and decided it was a pc contact). I was told to link the duplicates manually but I have over a thousand contacts and a hundred or two duplicates. Yuck. Once they are all linked or duplicates deleted, the sync works well.
