    I switched from a 9930 and I'm trying to restore only my notepad and my password keeper to my Z10. But there's no option on BlackBerry Link. Anyone know if there is a work around? I don't want to transfer everything else. HELP!

    Password keeper? not sure.

    By notepad, do you mean the app on the older device where you can type little notes, or memos? If so, have you synced those from your older device to your outlook mail client on your PC, per chance? If so, the latest version of link has provisions for 2 way outlook sync, possibly allowing you to pull them from an outlook client installation on your PC. My thinking is, ignore that in the restore/transfer, then pull them "after the fact" via on outlook sync.

    That being said, SOME folks here, such as myself, have not been successful with Calender sync via link, and others have. I, for instance, can sync contacts, but not calendar, via Link 2-way syncing. Others reprt that it works for them. Not sure what to tell you there.

    They will, then, show up in the "Remember" app on your Z10.

    Hope this helps a little.

    If I were you, just to make sure I'd get it right, I'd do this:

    • Close BlackBerry Link;
    • Make sure Remember and Password Keeper are installed on the new device;
    • Create a full backup of the old device using Desktop Software;
    • Using Destop Software, delete all databases from the 9930 BUT Notes and Password Keeper;
    • Close Desktop Software, open BlackBerry Link;
    • Let Link do it's thing.

    That is the safest way to make sure you won't get any junk from the old device into the new one. Now, I am not sure Link will be able to get that data and move it where it belongs, but this will make sure it has a good shot at it!

    Good luck!

    Thanks folks. I will try these asap. Just sucks that link doesn't have the options that desktop had. Wish I was able to manually select what I do and don't want to transfer on link. I'll try as soon as I get home.

    Yes. That's the notepad I was referring to. I didn't have outlook synced on my old device but I will try and execute it.
