In Z10, All of sudden, bbm contacts are disappeared.

I restarted it. bbm asked me to restore . I restored using switch device option and email. It gave me error " cannot contact to server"

then I tried of transfer from old bb to z10 by using bb link. it doesn't work.

I restart the phone several times.

Finally, I have wipe out all data and restore factory default setting. transfer all data from old bb to z10 by using bb link again.

in this time, all my contacts and bbm contacts are gone.

using mail option to restore again . nothing work for me.

in bbm, there is no restore option shown. it is showing like new profile.

please help me.

Sorry to hear you have to go through so much trouble. I suggest you try IntouchApp. Just install on your old BB and it'll upload contacts to the cloud. Then install the app on Z10 and login to get your contacts on the Z10. No matter how many times you reset the device, you can simply restore the contacts back to your Z10 or any other device in future! Contacts are auto backed up, synced and updated for you. Just look for "intouchapp" on AppWorld or visit intouchapp.com from your mobile browser to install the app.

I have the same problem after 3 weeks of using it this past Friday stopped to work it says settings up BBM. Then ask to restore by email. And it says wrong email or server error
I posted. On a earlier thread. Already
