Blackberry L. Signal Strength?
Any news on the L series signal strength? My first BB was a Style and worked great. I have a 9930 and have real problems with it. Hoping the L series doesn't let me down.

For every phone and every network it could be on, there is a different combination of signal strength received for a given amount of signal.
Personally I wouldn't worry about it. Obviously different phones get different quality of service even though the manufacturers want everything to get great reception, but I've never experienced this as being a problem that blackberries have suffered from. - 12-03-2012, 07:44 PM #3
Have to agree with the second post. For instance....my wife had a Style and absolutely hated it. No reception at all. We are on the Bell network. Different experiences depending on network, area,....lots of factors.

Blackberry L. Signal Strength?
Thanks for the thoughts. I am in a rural area with Sprint. At home most of the time so I have to stand outside usually to get a signal with my 9930. Was never an issue with my Style. My wife still has a Style and gets a pretty good signal at home inside. Can't wait for BB10!

I've owned a few different makes of phones in between all of my berry usage, and I will say, my berries always had the best reception out of any phone I have owned. Not once while on a BB have I ever heard "What did you say, I can't hear you". My signal is always the highest with a BB, no matter where I am. It is one of the many reasons why I have not jumped ship. I may have been aggravated as the next person with all of the battery pulls, spinning clocks etc, but I am one of those kinds of guys (maybe one of the few) that actually considers purchasing a phone for its call quality and signal. All the rest of the things are just perks and bonuses along the way. Not saying I don't of course enjoy all of the extra goodies as well as the next person, but for me it is communication in forms of calls, emails and texts for the most part.

don't worry, I already tried London, and its antenna is able to catch the signal even we stay at almost closed room.
