    well you could delete your BlackBerry id. But then you will lose all the apps you bought and your BBM contact info.

    Erase from where? From your phone, use secure wipe.

    Under Settings, there's Security/Privacy and then near the bottom (scroll down), there is Security Wipe. That will erase everything. Be aware that it can take anywhere from up to an hour to 5 or 6 hours according to some reports.

    That will erase everything from the phone. If you decide to go to a different vendor and want to completely erase your relationship with BlackBerry you need to keep the original email that came when you created the BBID. With that you can delete it.
