    why emblem blackberry beside the signal does not appear, even though internet package is already active, how do I fix this? and I've been trying to pull the sim card and just use the wifi, the result remains the same, the symbol of blackberry still does not appear, please help, BlackBerry Z10 STL100-1

    What country are you in? Carrier? Does BBM work with WiFi off?

    You could try doing it. Press both the volume keys together and hold till you see the BlackBerry logo

    The volume button reset does not work on the STL100-1. For that phone, the only option - other than doing a battery pull and replace, is to hold the Power button down for 10 seconds.

    It may be a carrier issue but I think u need to Register BlackBerry...

    1. Go to Settings
    2. Scroll to last item : About
    3. Select from dropdown menu :
    Category..... Network
    4. Go to the bottom right menu option
    5. Select : Register BlackBerry
