I just got a notification update on my z10 device concerning the app world, it says minor update help improving battery life
I updated by now and shall update you soon
Anyone who hot the same please share with us here.

I updated two days ago, and have been having some massive battery drainage!! Yesterday and today down to 30% in 3.5 hours with little or no use..... Anyone else??

I updated, then lost App World, the icon is there but faded. Any ideas how to restore?

My battery went nuts after the update, yes, confirmed. 5 hours and the usual heat, not sure if the OS or the radio. Hope it gets sorted soon!

I had no issues with battery before this update, since the update my battery drains so quickly, if i knew i wouldnt have updated

It happened to me. I tried security wipe with not success. I restored os from BlackBerry link, now is ok

I got it too just this morning when i woke up it was there in notifications, so i downloaded it and now i can see more stuff in APP world

I only updated because it said it improves battery life, it has the complete opposite effect. My Z10 is pretty useless if its only gonna last 5hours........ Pizzed right off

Ok--I'm still using my trusty 9810 (live in the states) and got the notification last night but decided not to update yet. I put it on my PC desktop to check out but really like the UI on it--still it works fine. That said, I think with all the battery issues and other negatives that I've seen on forums, I will wait and hope for an update to fix the issues. I haven't seen anything in particular from 7.1 users but would like to. Thanks!

just realized the improvement i reported was from version 4.2.1.109.

so 187 still not showing up for me
