if I had the choice I probably would have picked up the white one.
However, the back sounds like it feels different in the hand and that could be a deal breaker for the white one because the black one feels so nice when you pick it up.

Handled both. Black is indeed nicer to hold. White feels kind of cheap. Plus you can never go wrong with black...white might get dirty :-p. Plus although it's totally subjective, I could never understand the fuss over white phones anyway.

I prefer Black personally, think it looks more professional. But that's just my opinion.

As others have mentioned (though I have not handled a white one, so can't speak to), there is a difference in the feel between white and black, so that may be a factor to you as well.

They do have a different feel to them. The black being the nicer feel of the two.

Are you going to put it in a case? If so then depending on the design of the case it might not matter too much.

Granted though, Telus hasn't released the white yet. Wife might get white; we'll see next week once released and we can see in person.

I honestly thought black. Until I saw the white one in store - its simply a beautiful phone! Can't go wrong with either.
