Yup.

Especially TV's. Once I buy a tech gadget, I don't look back, cause it depresses me. However, OPs point is still somewhat valid as the BlackBerry depreciates sooner than others.

The way of the world I am afraid. No matter what tech you buy the price always goes down from the initial start off price. Only way around that is to wait a while before you buy, then you will always benefit from any lowered price. How long you wait would be a personal matter of course.

Everyone is basically saying the same thing. This is the information age, and with the increasing need desire for rapid information to and fro, technology must keep up (or try to). This will see fast "improvements" on available tech, and as a result the price on a new device will only hold for 6 months to a year. Don't feel so bad OP it's just the way the world is now.

There is video I saw a few years ago, where as soon as a guy buys a new product (TVs I believe), a new one comes out. I can't find the video though

This is the same reason I haven't got a Playstation 4 yet. After a year or so they come out with a cheaper smaller better version for less $$
