Alec Saunders confirms that the Big Apps are coming soon. He say: "they're coming. no worries. some partners are just taking a little longer."

How long has this ......BB10 been in development, these Big Apps have been coming for awhile now, getting tired of waiting. Hummmm, what does that mean. I guess when you get tired of a situation, you have do something about it .......

I am thinking they will be available for the official USA Launch of the z10. At least those are my hopes.

It does seem like the major partners will have their apps ready for when the BlackBerry z10 is released in the US. Just a shame for us who already own a z10! The waiting continues...

It would be nice to have a few heavy hitters in BlackBerry World BEFORE the USA launch so that on Day 1 in the USA no one will be complaining to much.

I think they'll probably be released a few days before the US launch so everyone is the US can download them when they get their hands on the device.

I'm willing for wait for them just so they're not rushed and are native apps

The Biggest Missing App to me is BlackBerry Travel. I am really suffering without it.

I used Endomondo Pro 4-6 times a week on my OS7 Torch. I miss this app more than all the others.

Actually this app (blackberry travel) is very conspicuous by its absence. I know it is made by worldmate but blackberry made such a song and dance about the blackberry killer app in os 7 which this was one of.

I'm really getting tired of waiting for decent apps. The claim of 70,000 apps may and I stress may be correct, but of those how many are actually apps that people want or need. Even the most basic apps have issues and lack functionality in terms of use settings.

Exactly. I'm in for USA and I'm complaining. Seriously though there is a huge lack of quality apps. I'm not a huge app user but it would be nice to have a few of the ones that I use. Some banking apps, fitness apps. Maybe a few less apps for train and subway routes.

Didn't blackberry state they were trying to get the top 200 apps in each region? I would like to know specifically which ones out of those they have managed to commit so far?

It is a bit weird that so many of the big boys haven't released yet. I was expecting that on launch day a big reveal so to speak. I don't see why these guys would delay so long after the UK and Canadian release of the z10.

Yup and I fear "committed" means the companies are all waiting to see if bb10 is worth developing for... A catch 22 if no one goes first.

I've seen the screen shots of it on BB10, so it's out there, just not released yet.

Bb10 has been available to developers for much longer than that.
