Just about any decent pair of earbuds should be fine honestly, I have a pair of Sony's that cost me about $50 CAD that are noise cancelling and sound really nice.

Different ear buds are designed for different types of music. What are good for one type of music may not be good for other. You need to try out the ear buds with your phone to find a pair that are good for you. I just want to add that since the update to 10.3.1, the audio quality of the Z10 coming from the headphones is much better than before.

As mentioned above there's no right answer here, much less a right answer specific to the z10. I've used many different buds, I find I need ones with adjustable in-ear rubber covers to ensure a proper fit, and of those, some are more comfortable than others.

I was quite happy with a $30 pair of Skull Candy ear buds w inline mic, worked beautifully for about two years until one ear bud died. Great sound, I'll prob pick up another pair soon.

I'd suggest googling 'best ear buds 2015' and filter through the results based on your price range. My preference is always to start off at the bottom (cheapest) and work my way up to see what's suitable, you'll prob find cheaper pairs are quite sufficient for everyday use.

    Good luck

Some earphones won't work on BlackBerry devices.
I'm using a pair of RHA 750i's and the remote is fully compatible with my Z10.
Coupled with Neutron Player the sound is very very good.

Bose ear buds are #1 and Sony ear buds are #2.

I got Monsters Earth Wind and Fire branded ear buds. They came with something like 5 different ear pieces. The longest ones have a lot of base which for classic rock I like. They suggest you try all the different pieces and see which you like best. I believe I got them on Amazon for maybe $50 to $60. It also has the 3 button remote in the headphone line and works well for mute,or skip or to answer a call.

I use this one. The mic isn't very good for phone calls but for music it surprisingly has a good range from vocals to instrument heavy to electronic (definitely not bass heavy but decent for earbuds).

One suggestion is to fashion a cord tie from a small strip of electrical tape to close the left and right cord together and you're golden.
