I'm looking to buy a bb phone and I'm looking into the z10 because I can get it for a decent price 200$ to try it out. Would this be a good choice or is there another. Bb phone that. Is around that price that would be a better choice?

Z10 hands down. And that's not just BlackBerry, that's all smartphones in my opinion. $200 is simply a steal for the Z10. This phone is leaps ahead of iOS7 and the iphone, and is simply a wonderful device.

The Z10 is (in my opinion) the best "bang for the buck" BlackBerry. The least favorable aspect is battery life. However, when updated to the latest OS version, the battery life should be ample to get you through the day unless you are a "heavy" user.

The z10 is best deal across the board. The size is perfect, the hardware is excellent, and the OS cannot be matched.

I really like the Z10 overall. The Z30 has its advantages such as bigger screen, better sound, and longer battery life.

I think it comes down to personal preference and price.

My vote is for the Q5... Koodo has it on sale off contract for $150 and it can be found on craiglist for even less...

Great battery, AWESOME keyboard... very good value for the money.

All in all your decision needs to come down to Keyboard or full touch screen... Q5 wins on a "communication" device and the z10 would win on a media "consumption" device.

Disagree with labeling Z10 as "media consumption" device..
After being a hard core keyboard lover - I find the Z10 to meet all my communication needs and more quite nicely! I think it breaks the stereotypical mindset, stomps on it, and sets fire to it while supplying the marshmallows...

Got my Z10 6 days ago now and i say go for it 10.2.1 has really impressed me with what you can do now like download android apps and you'll have everything you need to a buttery OS for a good phone im also thinking about changing my Z10 from black to white Z10 hand down blackberry have done really well with this device its amazing and i got 4 of my friends to by one because now you can have snap chat and instagram and other android apps they didn't believe me at first but now they do and they love there devices

Z10 hands down. Get the battery bundle and u r good to go. Got one off Ebay for my daughter for $230 with extras. She was able to find nice cases, a battery bundle and dock charger on Amazon.com for her phone. Loaded the 1925 OS with Snap and she is thrilled.

Agree with all the comments above.. its the Z10!

After using iPhones (from 2 till 5) and Androids (from Froyo till Jelly Bean) and having NEVER tried a BB before, I gave the Z10 and BB a shot with the Thanksgiving offer (Z10 at $199)..
I declined the T Mobile offer to trade my 3 month old Z10 for the price I paid... and the reason for that is:
iPhones and Androids may have ALL the apps that you can ever ask for... and BB clearly lacks some of those apps...
but the Change UI is pleasant... the convenience of using HUB for all your messages beats iPhone`s and Android`s approach any day...
AND if you really need that one app from your Android play store, you can still sideload on your BB without losing any of the BB experience.

Its got its own quirks... but... I love it so far.. and for $200.. I really think its a steal.

Well I sold a bunch of stuff and snagged a z10 on ebay for $150! I will have it by the end of this week, can't wait!!
