I haven't tried any battery apps myself but I find the Application Manager in built-in settings quite informative.
It shows per-application battery usage. Afaik, it was added in 10.2 only and looks like it will get some improvements in 10.2.1.

I have Battery Guru.
Also have the Battery and System Analyzer... It is quite good due to the detail charts etc
Battery Guru is awesome simple..
Both apps are equally good depending on what you want.

Save your money if you looking for just simple info from your phone & battery look for BatteryPal.. It's free and no ads..
If your having battery life issues, it's the OS that will change that. 10.2 will give you longer battery life coming soon
to an ISP near you. Battery booster apps never worked for me and I have tried most all of them. GL
