    my old blackberry z 10 has crashed.
    Last backup data was on May 30.
    I have switched over to Iphone,
    how can i recover contacts from backup file and transfer to new phone?

    You can't....

    Sadly LINK was designed for BlackBerry devices only, and even then it was very temperamental... I had Backups fail on a number of occasions.

    Keeping your contacts on your phone and only backed up only using a proprietary system, might have been very secure. But it doesn't give you a lot of options...

    Is you Z10 really dead, or would reinstalling the OS maybe get it going so you could do a restore?
