Does BBZ10 pull contacts/icons from Facebook? How to stop that?: [ BlackBerry Z10 ] can someone help me out with this issue? I found this thread and no one has answered it... I need answers.

Well, I think it's supposed to work like this:
1. Tap to open Contacts app
2. Swipe downward from the top of the screen to reveal the Settings menu icon
3. Tap to open the Contacts menu
4. Scroll down to the 'Show Account in Contact List' section.
5. Swipe left to deselect each account's contacts, e.g. Facebook's, that you don't want to appear in your contacts list.
6. Exit with the back arrow.
Your contacts list should now bw much less cluttered.

Unfortunately, at least for me, the Contacts app must remain in open in active frame for the settings to work. As soon as the app is closed and reopened, the settings must be redone. I did have an issue with the Skype app that royally screwed up my contacts list, and I've never fully recovered from it (my only complaint with the OS), so perhaps my experience is not typical. I am hopeful that the 10.2.1 release in a few days will solve my troubles.
