    I just tested my STL100-3 over WiFi and bbm works. Perhaps something went wrong while installing the OS. May have to start over. Did you restore from backup or start fresh?

    You need a BBID if you haven't gotten one already.

    If you turn off mobile data, can you browse the network?
    No such thing as too many backups. Remember that.

    Do you have the BB simbol close tothe WiFi simbol?

    Your pic shows "H" which is the hspa mobile network. You have the BlackBerry icon beside the H, so your bbm should be working.

    Here is what mine looks like.
    Attachment 170419

    As you can see, the wifi symbol is there and the BlackBerry icon is right beside it. My bbm is working fine over wifi.

    Yeah now its working because im using a data plan service.
    But when im connected to wifi 1st two minutes it can send and receive chats. After two minutes it will display the red clock.

    Then I was right.

    Now we have to figure out why is it your WiFi is not getting service...

    Give this a go, not sure it will help, but can't hurt trying:

    • Delete the WiFi network from your device;
    • Reboot your WiFi router (I suggest pulling the power cord and the line cord from their sockets);
    • Reboot your Z10 while the router is booting up (hold the top buttom till you see the BlackBerry logo again);
    • Add the WiFi back to the device.

    Let's hope that does the trick!

    Maybe you are outside of wifi coverage?

    When you are covered by wifi, does the BlackBerry icon appear beside the wifi icon?

    Yeah with BB10 you can do this, all you need is a BBID and wifi (no sim).

    To the OP, try diegonei's suggestions! There has been a few post about Z10 and wifi connectivity issues within several users homes, work etc. Try those recommendations so others can possibly give another fix if those don't work.

    Regarding the BBM video/voice chat, you have to go to settings and enable voice/video calls over the network (not wifi only!). This would help...also it would not show up depending on the contact you are trying to call/video with if they haven't done the same as you or have a legacy OS BB and are out of wifi range!
