Have had the Z10 for a few months now. Anyone that I have connected via BBM video, the quality of the call has always been horrible.

Very slow, Laggy, etc. I have chatted with different networks from Telus, Wind, Rogers users. All the same results.

I do not experience the seamless video calls advertised all over BlackBerry's advertising, commercials etc.

Any suggestions to improve video calls?

Hmm. Not so sure. Did you try switching to bbm to see if it's is a bandwidth problem?

I had crystal clear bbm voice in rural Zimbabwe with lower frame rate on video. At home in Vancouver it has been pretty stellar in both wifi and 4G.

Try a couple separate wi-fi networks and see if you can isolate one as being problematic.

It could be the other person you are talking to and the connection they have. I video chat daily over BBM and have not had any issues at all.

I haven't really experienced that... I BBM video with my gf and it works great. She has a Z10 and I got the Q10... no issues at all on either end (via the network- on HSPA+ or on wifi)

Maybe try wifi and see how it goes... maybe your network connection isn't as fast (due to many reasons why the speeds would vary)
