[CrackBerry Question]

Can anybody help me. I downloaded the latest version for my BB Z10. Due to the new lay out if I am writing a BBM message to somebody I cannot read what I write as the textbox is under the keybord. What to do|???????????

First of all thanks for the reply. I don't know how to make a screenshot. But usually when you write you can see what you write. With this new version if I write something it is not visible immediately only when I scroll the texti to read when done. My keybord is on the screen and above the keybord (the place where you can see what you write) there you can now choose for send or add more people. Do you understand what I mean. Feel so stupid. Have never posted here anything so I am not so familiar.

To do a screenshot press volume up and down at the same time and you can post it here. You can first try to reboot if that hasn't been done.

Finally..... print screen
The first screenshot is when I open BBM and want to reply for on the chat, so far all good.
When I press on the text box as I would like to write something then the second screenshot (crackberry 2) shows. I can type but I cannot read as this line with send message or add friend is only visible. It looks like a bug in the system??????

Hi, yes I did, several times actually as I was hoping it would be better. When using whatsapp, I don't have the problem, the place where you can choose to add somebody will disappear. This is what should have happened with BBM Messenger as well I think.

True. But I had that problem back when I was part of the BBM beta and that was how I dealt with it. The update fixed that issue for me. But it seems she's still having it. Maybe she has an old version of BBM. That's the only fix as far as I know.

*edit- based On the screenshot I have a feeling she should has an old version of BBM I remember an old version having the font color on the top bar white so it was hard to read the contact name.

I suggest you update to the latest version in bb world, otherwise turn off the option I suggested.

Meanwhile I also found the OS and BBM version but that is not of use anymore.

Just to be sure indeed it is an old version problem. I have BBM version 10.8.3.21
Is that the latest??
I usually only update when I get a message I need to update.

you can open bb world and go the "my world" section. Then tap "check for updates " there is a newer version available 10.8.6.15.

Sometimes updates are slow to come through to the Hub. However when experiencing issues it's always best to try checking for updates manually first.
