It is using too much of my battery life.
I never opened BBM but it is consuming battery life. What to do?
    Can I delete it?

You can figure out the reason. You know... investigate inside BBM?

    Hi,

It is a software bug with 10.2.
Do you use the newest device on and BBM version?

Yup. Does it happen to everyone who uses latest BBM?

Generally, a reboot/restart will fix it. Not sure what causes it.

    Try a restart:

Press and HOLD both Vol Up/Down buttons. Keep holding while the screen goes fully black (ignore the screenshot), keep holding through the Black/White logo and when the Colored Logo shows up, release those buttons.

If you have the STL100-1 variant the volume button reset method doesn't work. In that case, Press and HOLD the Power On Button until you see the LOGO as above

I have done it. It is working fine now. Not sure if it will happen again...

Look for something that's either going on for too long or happening too many times, obviously. Could be you have too many active groups or one of yoru contacts is an attention ***** that updates status every 10 seconds.
