That L series looks lovely.
Children of tomorrow live in the tears that fall today
Will the sunrise of tomorrow bring in peace in any way?
Must the world live in the shadow of atomic fear?
Can they win the fight for peace or will they disappear? - 11-20-2012, 08:22 AM #3

Looks great. I personally like the fact that it's being compared to a 9700 as I can now see what the difference is in dimensions from my current phone. Sooooo can't wait!!!

This phone is growing more and more on me.

The updated icons definitely make a difference visually. Not as flat as previous ones.

Hand looks super weird in those pics.
And the phone looks great. I would love it if it was the PlayBook material on the back, maybe just a little more slick so it's easy to put in and out of your pocket. Love the understated design though...
For people being like I HATE IT THIS ISN'T THE FINAL HARDWARE IS IT? Keep in mind when the CB team posted their first impressions, Kevin specifically said "There is nothing disappointing about it". That's all I need to hear to trust that it's going to be a slick device to hold.Remember to RTFM. - 11-20-2012, 08:59 AM #11
Just noticed they moved up the volume control buttons/camera shutter button closer tot he top , as opposed to the middle in the Dev Alpha A
Also, the dev alpha A is 1mm thinner than that bold 9900 so if they kept the same thickness thats something i can live with - 11-20-2012, 08:59 AM #12
Damn I want one of those!!!!!! Can't wait to get my Dev Alpha next month and then hopefully that device soon there after!!!!!!

Gimme. Gimmie

It certainly looks enormous compared to the Bold. Personally, I hope the final marketed device won't really be that big.
Also, here's a cool comparison site that tabs31 posted in the blog/news comments which shows the details of both of these phones and then lists some pros and cons for each device. You can also plug in other brands and models of phones for additional side-by-side comparisons: Comparing RIM BlackBerry 10 vs. RIM Blackberry 9900 - 16 Reasons for the RIM BlackBerry 10 - VERSUS IO - 11-20-2012, 09:31 AM #17
Gorgeous! Anyway... Am i the only one hoping that the material of the back will not be like the playbook? I can feel the heat at the back of my pb everytime i play some games or watch videos. The back of pb also feels like rubber and i dont want to experience that with my new shining bb10 phone.

I like the look. Its nothing spectacular. What I am interested in is how well the phone preforms when its in use. I am really looking forward to changing to a full touch screen. I have never had anything but Bolds or Curves. I never thought that I would be a fan of Touchscreens but if Blackberry is doing it I have confidence that it will be nothing but pure awesome. A small part of me says that they are leaking these photos so they can blow us away with a totally awesome new design come Jan 30. If not I would be totally happy with this phone as shown.

I don´t know :/
It seems to me that this device is too big to be able to easily operate it one handed, what do you think? For example to reach upper side only with your thumb. In my opinion 4 inch device is maximum, iPhone with 3,5 inches was better size. Currently I have 9700, I know that for today standard the screen is not big enough, but it doesn ´t have to be so big.
I hope new QWERTY device will be something better. - 11-20-2012, 09:52 AM #22
It looks to me that the L-Series is about the size of the Galaxy Nexus, which is as tall as the PlayBook. I can use the GNex one handed but because of how Jelly Bean is set up, it is kind of difficult to navigate one handed. You constantly have to hit the back button to get around apps. I just think that BB10 works well with one handed use from I can see in terms of navigation.

And London EU shows up again, hehehe. So Teasing, so Tempting. Ofcourse, it can be operated by single hand only. As Thorsten said "One Touch, One Finger". Keep in mind guys. That's what London is.

HONK! IF YOU WANT BLACKBERRY 10
9020,8800, 9360,iPhone 4,Galaxy Young,Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy Note II, Lenovo S880 - 11-20-2012, 10:15 AM #25
See, I hope that the back IS like the PlayBook. My current Torch has that rubberized back that feels great in my hand. We have both the iPhone 4 and an SII in the house, and neither has any real grip to them. Shiny means nothing if you can't hold on to the darned things.
