    Hi all,
    I am using Data Usage Counter as I am on a 1GB/month plan here in the UK with my Z10.
    I noticed that the app records a tiny but constant traffic.
    Curious what this is coming from I have deleted all email accounts/facebook/twitter from the phone.

    After that I deleted all apps but the Data usage counter one and at the moment I still see a data usage of between 0.02 and 0.05 MB in 15 minutes and Data Usage Counter records this as an almost equal split between outgoing and incoming.

    any ideas which app or part of the BB OS is causing this? The obvious answer might be the Data Usage counter itself, but maybe others have seen the same?

    There is a report or product improvement function I remember disabling. You can turn this off in the setting.

    no protect and BBM is turned off in the hub. do you know if it would still ping the servers?

    Just cause BBM isn't in the HUB, I think it's always running.

    Hm,
    the Diagnostics function under Security and Permissions is turned off as well. That is the only diagnostic function/option, isn't it?

    That's strange. I'm in the US on Verizon. I use Data Check Pro to monitor my usage when I'm out of the country. Looking at Data Check Pro, it doesn't show any usage on 4G like you are seeing. Maybe it's carrier specific?
